SIA-025

The SIA-025 has been designed to accommodate many of our customers requests, for a real integrated amplifier in our high performance Signature Series.

But as usual, our design team went an extra mile. The result is not only an amplifier with 5 inputs (balanced and unbalanced), a preamplifier output (for biamping
purposes) and balanced speaker outputs - it raises our technology to a new level of integration of parts.
Integration was a major challenge, but necessary to fit all the parts into the fairly small chassis, which the SIA-025 shares with its siblings - the SS-010 and SS-050.

The output stage of the SIA-025, is taken from the SM-010 monaural amplifiers - sized to fit within one chassis with a balanced input buffer. The main task for this buffer, is to separate the new simplified relay based
volume control from the selected source. By putting all our efforts into developing this true balanced integrated class A amplifier, we succeeded in making the new higher level of integration perform to the standards that any customer would expect from our Signature Series.

SIA-025 adds more flexibility in terms of more inputs, the possibility of bi-amping should it be needed and lastly a full bypass function for enabling compatibility with external surround processors.

SCD-010

Together with our SCD-010, this amplifier will form a simple, cool looking system that delivers an incredible performance.

The CD Drive selected for the SCD-010 has been stripped down to its basic mechanical and electronic parts and totally rebuilt. This ensures a lower level of errors in reading the digital information on the discs, which leaves the error correction system in the drive with much less work to do.

The digital audio part has been taken to the extreme. From day one we decided to use sample rate conversion,
to minimise jitter. However instead of using a standard solution from ADI or TI, we chose the DSP based module from Anagram Technologies. First of all we gain higher flexibility, as this module is programmable and can be upgraded for newer standards.

Secondly we achieve a sample rate of 384KHz where the current limit on standard solutions is 192KHz. The higher the sample rate the higher the bandwidth. As Anagram Technologies designed a masterclock module to fully support their sample rate conversion modules - the choice was easy - however a very expensive one.

The analog stage uses our highly regarded topology taken directly from our amplifiers. It is a discrete coupling, which uses zero feedback, ultra linear transistors and high precession resistors. The resulting open loop bandwidth lies at 2.5MHz and gives a very linear phase response, which is one of the key elements for correct musical harmony.

The power supply is split into 4 different and completely separate supplies. One each for the drive and digital audio part and two for the analog stage (left and right). We believe the SCD-010 is bringing "musical performance" into the digital domain.

SL-010

The SL-010 is an unbalanced version of the legendary Signature Linestage SL-101. Using the same topology as the SL101, it takes full advantage of the ultra linear - all discrete - gainstages developed when the SL-101 was introduced in 2005. This is also true for the relay based volume, which currently is in its 3rd generation. Lastly let's not forget the power supply.

Even though the SL-010 is an unbalanced linestage, primarily designed to drive the SS-010 and SS-050, we also included a true balanced output buffer, driving the one balanced output. With this, it is possible to combine the SL-010 with any of our true balanced power amplifiers like our current SS-101, SM-010 and SM-101.

Based on another request from the market, we introduced an optional phonostage for building directly into the SL-010. This phonostage is based on the well reviewed RP-100, , however without the battery supply. This phonostage has recently undergone a major redesign and delivers a performance very close to the original RP-100. As with our other linestages, a full bypass feature has been implemented. This allows external surround processors to take full control of the volume, when used in multichannel systems.

SP-102

The SP-101 replacement has arrived. After spending a very long time developing the new two chassis MP-P201 extreme phonostage, it was clear that a serious look at a replacement for the SP-101 was needed.

In the development of the MP-P201, we did not expect that the improvement in performance would be so dramatic, but all the hours of refining, even the smallest of parts, really paid off in an unimaginable way.
As a result, the SP-102 is not an upgraded SP-101.

It is a brand new design based on the technologies gained through the development of the MP-P201. It therefor incorporates the same features for setting, both loading and sensitivity via our RC-010 systems
remote or directly from the front. Instead of the normal MM/MC selection, we implemented a very flexible gain setting feature. The actual setting correlates to the output voltage of the cartridge being used. To be as flexible as possible, we scanned the market for all the different types of cartridges we could find, simply to allow the resolution of the gainsteps to be as optimal as possible.

The result gives perfect matching with output voltages ranging from 125uV - 10mV. Together with our well known true balanced, full discrete technologies, we believe the SP-102 together with the MP-P201, sets a new standard for analogue reproduction

SL-102

After spending a very long time developing the new two chassis MP-L201 extreme linestage, it was clear that a serious look at a replacement for the SL-101 was needed.

From market requests, we introduced an optional phonostage for building directly into the SL-102. This phonostage is based on the well reviewed RP-100, (please refer to the Reference Series on our web site under reviews), however without the battery supply. This phonostage has recently undergone a major redesign and delivers a performance very close to the original RP-100. In the SL-102, we spent many hours implementing the load setting system developed for the MP-P201, as well as adding MM/MC selection to the SL-102 menu system, so the RP-010 is a fully integrated part of the SL-102. As with our other linestages, a full bypass feature has been implemented. This allows external surround processors to take full control of the volume, when used in multichannel systems.

SS-101

For those who want the very best in performance the SS-101 is our statement stereo power amplifier. A completely no-compromise design, this amplifier will take on the very finest products from around the world, regardless of their cost!

The SS-101 houses brand new circuitry, which uses only the finest matched transistors and super precision resistors to ensure optimal working conditions for the different stages of each module. This combined with a special coupling of each input stage, results in an ultra linear frequency response.

The true balanced design, together with the local shunt regulated power supply, ensures excellent signal to noise ratio, making it possible to reveal every micro detail in the recordings. The result is a power amplifier, capable of exposing micro details/dynamics never heard before without compromising the coherence of the recording. As the design is true balanced, all non-balanced signals are converted to true balanced straight at the first input
stage.

SM-101

There was only one way to improve on the incredible performance of the statement SS-101 - give each channel its own separate chassis and dedicated power supply and selected components. Which is exactly what we did and the SM-101 was born. SM-101 is our statement monaural power amplifier.
